Simple Veggie Sides For Thanksgiving

Create these simple veggie side dish recipes using our frozen vegetables.


Zesty Minted Peas

Zesty Minted Peas
In small bowl, combine 2 tbsp each finely chopped fresh mint and green onion. Stir in 1 tbsp each wine vinegar and olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Heat 3 cups Sweet Peas according to package directions and transfer to serving bowl. Pour mint mixture over warm peas and toss gently to serve.

Lemon-Parmesan Broccoli

Lemon-Parmesan Broccoli
In small bowl, combine 1 tbsp each lemon zest, lemon juice and olive oil; add 1 tsp minced garlic. Heat 3 cups Broccoli Florets according to package directions, then pat dry with paper towel and transfer to serving bowl. Stir in lemon mixture while still warm, and sprinkle with ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan to serve.

Walnut-Date Brussels Sprouts

Walnut-Date Brussels Sprouts
Heat 2 cups Brussels Sprouts according to package directions and drain thoroughly. Meanwhile, in a dry skillet, toast ¼ cup walnut pieces over medium heat until fragrant, 3-5 mins. Transfer sprouts to serving bowl and stir in walnuts, a pinch of salt, and 2 tbsp each of olive oil, finely chopped pitted dates, minced chives, fresh thyme, honey and red wine vinegar.
