Serving Information:
PREPARE FROM THAWED.
DEFROSTING:
- Defrost fillet, in package, in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes or overnight in refrigerator.
- Remove all packaging.
BARBECUE:
- Preheat barbecue on medium and oil grill.
- Place fillet, skin side down, on grill.
- Barbecue 25 to 30 minutes (whole fillet) or 15 to 20 minutes (1 to 2 portions). Turn once.
OVEN:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Place fillet, skin side down, on non-stick baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
- Cook 22 to 25 minutes (whole fillet) or 15 to 18 minutes (1 to 2 portions).
FRY PAN:
- Preheat non-stick fry pan to medium (350°F/175°C).
- Add 1 to 2 tsp (5 to 10 mL) olive oil.
- Fry fillet, skin side down, 15 to 20 minutes (1 to 2 portions). Turn once.
NOTE: Cook until minimum internal temperature of 158°F (70°C) is reached. Fully cooked salmon is opaque and flakes with a fork. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Do not refreeze thawed product. Store thawed product in refrigerator and use within 2 days. Although we make every effort to have all bones removed from our salmon, small bones may sometimes be present.
