NOTE: Prepare chili from the frozen state. Remove all packaging prior to cooking. Cook until a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, the instructions below are guidelines only.
OVEN: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place frozen chili (without packaging) into an ovenproof bowl with cheese facing up, in the centre of the oven. Cook for about 50 to 60 minutes. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS): (Please note, when cooked in the microwave oven, the cheese will become mixed in the chili): Place frozen chili (without packaging) into a microwave-safe bowl. For 1 chili, cook on high for 5 minutes, stir cheese topping into the chili and cook 1 1/2 to 2 minutes more. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
