Extra Fine Green Beans

Serving Information:

NOTE: Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

STOVETOP: In saucepan, add 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) beans to 1/4 cup (60 mL) water. Bring to full boil on high. Cover, reduce heat to medium and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain, season to taste and serve immediately.

STEAM: Pour 1 cup water into pot. Bring to boil on high. Add 3 cups beans to a steamer basket, place over boiling water and cover. Steam 5 to 6 minutes. Season to taste and serve immediately.

MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS): Place 3 cups (750 mL) beans and 1/2 cup (125 mL) water in microwave safe dish and cover. Heat on high 4 minutes. Stir then heat 4 to 5 minutes, or until thoroughly heated. Drain, season to taste and serve immediately.
