Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

WARNING:

Do NOT use conventional or toaster oven.

STOVETOP:

  1. For best results, use non-stick medium size skillet with lid.
  2. Thaw salsa pouch in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat skillet on LOW.
  4. Cut open vegetable pouch and add to skillet.
  5. Cook uncovered on MEDIUM for 7 to 9 minutes.
  6. Stir occasionally Cut open beef pouch and add to skillet. Mix with vegetables.
  7. Cover and cook on MEDIUM for 7 to 9 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  8. In the last few minutes of heating, add thawed salsa and mix thoroughly.
  9. Remove from burner and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

TORTILLA SHELLS:

  1. Remove packaging.
  2. Place tortillas in a microwave-safe dish.
  3. Heat for 1 to 2 minutes.

TO SERVE:

  1. Place prepared filling in centre of a warm tortilla shell. 
  2. Fold one side over slightly more than half of filling. Fold other side so that it overlaps the first fold. 
  3. Serve with grated cheese, guacamole or sour cream, if desired.
