Curried Turkey Meatballs

Serving Size: 6 or more servings
Spice it up a bit with this easy curry recipe. Serve on a bed of couscous or M&M Food Market Rice & Vegetable Medley for a meal that's out of the ordinary.

Curried Turkey Meatballs


  • 1 cup (250 mL) M&M Food Market Diced Onions
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) curry powder
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) cumin
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) dried coriander
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) coriander leaves, washed
  • 1 can (796 mL/28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (796 mL/28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 pkg (750 g/1.65 lb) M&M Food Market Turkey Meatballs


In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onions, curry powder, cumin and dried coriander. Sautée until fragrant (about 1 minute). 

Add washed coriander leaves; sautée until onions are tender.    

Add crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes and meatballs to skillet. Simmer on medium-high heat for 30 - 45 minutes, or until meatballs are heated through.



You can substitute 4 cubed M&M Food Market Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts for the meatballs.
