Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers Skewers

These adorable little gems come together in a breeze thanks to M&M Food Market Meatballs. Finally, the perfect opportunity to say yes to that second, or even third, burger.

As per package instructions, add frozen meatballs to a non stick skillet along with about 2 tablespoons of water. Start burner on medium and gradually increase to medium high heat. When meatballs are almost done, add smoked paprika and maple syrup and toss well to ensure all the balls are covered.

Remove the meatballs and put the bacon in the pan, cooking for just two minutes on either side to crisp it up slightly. Cut each strip into three smaller pieces.

Using a small 3cm circle cookie cutter, cut out 30 circles of bread and 15 circles of cheese.

Wash the lettuce leaves, pat dry and tear into 15 tiny pieces, about the size of the bread.

Assembly: Spread a small amount of mayonnaise on one side of the bread, add lettuce, add two small pieces of bacon, one circle of cheese, the meatball and then top with the second piece of bread. Continue this process for all 15 meatballs. Using a long skewer, push the pointed end through the bottom of the bread, all the way through each component of the mini burger.

Optional: Serve with a small amount of ketchup or mustard. You could also add barbeque sauce instead of mayonnaise. Another option would be to sauté the Onions and add a small amount to each burger.
