We love it. Simple to do and great task. I sear meat in a cast iron skillet for 1&1/2 minutes per side then move to the oven at 400 degrees for another 2&1/2 minutes per side. Let it sit for 5 min then cut and serve. I put MTL steal spice on ours.

This cut of a tenderloin is perfect. A very little bit of fat marbled through to ensure a moist, tender almost melt in your mouth roast. It is the only one I purchase and highly recommend it.

Cooking Instructions
PREPARE FROM THAWED.
OVEN:
- Preheat oven (375°F/190°C).
- Preheat fry pan on high. Add 1 tbsp (15 mL) oil or butter.
- Sear chateaubriand on all sides; 2 to 3 minutes.
- Transfer to baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
- Cook 15 to 20 minutes for medium-rare.
