    Very good product

    Much better eaten hot than cold - use the microwave preparation instructions. Delicious with a piece of cod - not the breaded and processed one from M&M, but fresh from the grocery store.

    My new favourite side

    I love this salad. It makes a fantastic side dish, or sometimes I just make it as a main dish. The "dressing" has a nice, but not overwhelming tang and it is perfectly textured.

Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

WARNING:

Do NOT use conventional or toaster oven.

STOVETOP: (for best results)

  1. For best results, use non-stick medium size skillet with lid.
  2. Preheat skillet on LOW.
  3. Cut open bag and add contents to skillet and increase heat to MEDIUM.
  4. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes or until desired tenderness is achieved. Stir occasionally to mix components into sauce.
  5. Remove from burner and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS):

  1. Do not pierce or perforate bag.
  2. Place bag on microwave safe dish, seam side up.
  3. Heat on high for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Let stand 30 seconds.
  5. CAUTION: Bag will be hot.
  6. Carefully remove bag from microwave, holding edges.
  7. Open bag and transfer contents into dish
  8. Stir before serving.

NOTE:

  1. Cook until minimum internal temperature 165°F (74°C) is reached.
  2. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
  3. Salad may be served warm or cold after cooking.
