Cooking Instructions

Remove all packaging.

Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
Place portion on baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
Cook 30 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.

CAUTION:

Filling will be very hot.

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

Do not like the new breading on the chicken, and there isn't anything in the chicken, have tried a couple and they are not the same as they used to be

Chicken Kiev's not the same as before.

I bought 6 of these and just cooked two of them. Extremely disappointed. They used to be so good. These did not have any real filling other than the butter(I am assuming). Did not find any real herbs, just dried up chicken!

Disappointing changed to what used to be a delicious product

This product used to be one of my favourites and for some reason you changed it quite a while ago they used to be delicious made with plump juicy chicken breast but the price increased quite a lot and I think in an attempt to bring the price down you totally changed the product now the chicken is almost nonexistent. I would not buy these again. I wish you would go back to your original recipe.

disappointed will not be purchasing again

Bought a few of these for a family dinner and was very disappointed to see how low quality the kievs are compared to what they used to be. Granted it has been a while since we purchased. Chicken is now processed and lacking flavour. Product as a whole was smaller. These used to be a staple in our household as a youth. But we will not be purchasing again.

Very Good Stuffed Chicken

Chicken Kiev is one of my favourite stuffed chicken . I like to have it over rice. Never disappoints.

Not great

All the butter leaks out and very dry.

We enjoyed them very much. Had them with fried rice (delicious).

Doesn’t taste as good as it used to. It’s probably because it’s smaller and thinner and dries out.

Terrible.. Nothing inside the breaded skin.

If I could give zero I would. We have ordered this for years. Tonight we cooked two and both empty. Nothing inside. Maybe 1/8 of an inch of chicken. Just the breaded outside. Disgusting. What gives M and M? Cutbacks? DO NOT BOTHER.

M&M, WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE CHICKEN KIEV? IT USED TO BE SO GOOD

Oh what a disappointment! The chicken Kiev used to be my family's favourite item at M&M. The chicken is much smaller than it used to be and the Kiev (Butter, chives, etc.) is completely different and doesn't even taste buttery but rather oily. I will not buy them again regardless of the price.

As others have stated "HEAD OFFICE Pay Attention"

We used top purchase these (and Chicken Swiss) all the time.However with the latest reduction in package size from 170g to 142g (with the same price I might add) and what seems to be a different recipe, this product is no longer in my top picks. It is very inferior to its previous incarnation. I understand why it is no longer called "Gourmet"Quite disappointed M&M. And quit the shrinkflation gouge.

Head office should pay attention

Headquarters should pay attention to what the majority of loyal customers are saying about the product and fix the issue. I will have to take my business elsewhere unfortunately. Been a loyal customer since the 90’s.

very very little chicken; mostly batter

I was very disappointed with the chicken kiev and chicken and chives; but then, you get what you pay for...I bought 8 at a great price 2,50 each

The chicken was tasty and moist and they were a good size.

Family treat

Our whole family loves these - including the grandson. Bought a freezer full when they went on sale.

Stuffed Chicken Entrees

I was not pleased with my recent purchase of Chicken Kiev. Although the sale price was great, the quality of the product was poor. The chicken had a rubber texture with absolutely no taste at all. The filling was good but portion was small. Unfortunately despite the great sale price, I will not be purchasing any of these stuffed chicken products again from M & M.

Not good anymore

Bought these for years and they were good, but now they have been changed and cheapened and are not desirable anymore. They are a flat chicken patty with oil inside and sparse herbs.

Disappointed

Very disappointed. Used to buy these all time and it has been several years. So I saw they were on sale and ordered. What used to be a round filled chicken Kiev, with garlic and butter and parsley, is now a flat oil filled piece of breaded chicken. Before the garlic and butter would only come out when you cut into it , now leaks as its cooking and dries up. And does not taste like butter, there is really no taste anymore but breaded chicken. So so sad.. will never buy again.
