Cooking Instructions

Let product sit at room temperature 15 to 20 minutes before cutting.
With a sharp knife, cut bars into squares of desired size. For Nanaimo bar, warm knife blade in hot water and wipe dry before cutting.
Transfer cut pieces onto dessert dish or platter and allow to thaw thoroughly before serving.
Wrap and return unused portions to freezer while still frozen.

Very small portions but delicious

Minty Nanaimo Bar is a Miss!

These are great but if you're going to choose between the two gf bar boxes on offer, don't choose this one. The Brownie, and coconut are great but the Nanaimo bar is awful. I don't know why they went ahead and ruined it by putting a bunch of mint flavoring in it. People who have Celiac miss a memory. They miss the memory of having a Nanaimo bar. Not whatever that minty abomination is they added to that box. Every other gf bar they have is fantastic. The minty Nanaimo bar is a hard miss!

Gluten free, Dairy free desserts

The only store bought gluten free, dairy free dessert I have found other than specialty bakeries. Taste is pretty good considering.

Gluten free that doesn’t taste like unleavened sweets.

I’m always grateful that you sell gluten free bars. I can’t pass them off as my own since they’re so much better than mine. I have a very active social life and have several gluten intolerant friends as well as myself , so thank you that we can have a treat with our coffee😃

Gluten free/ vegan tasty treats

The bite sized squares were a very tasty light treat after dinner. The coconut is my favourite followed by the brownies which has a rich cocoa flavour. Some guests preferred the mint Nanaimo bars. Something for everyone !

BUYER BEWARE

There was very little taste to anything in this Dessert Bar package. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Such a disappointment and embarrassment when served to guests!

Treats and sweets!

These were such a surprise. I love coconut but to find it wasn’t a date square but chocolate was amazing even though I do love these with like a jam filling. The brownies were probably my least favourite but still excellent. The Nanaimo bars were interesting. I wasn’t expecting that much minty flavour. It was a little overwhelming for me but both my daughter’s loved them. They thought maybe a little less of the white filling would be ideal but we just squished a bit out and it was perfect. Nothing we can’t tweak at home for each individual. I’m thrilled to have the option!!

Excellent GF/DF Options

Fantastic! Definitely hard to find both GF and dairy-free baked goods, and all 3 of these were solid. Sometimes I think people say negative things about GF food just because. But it's extremely important for people with allergens to have access to options like this, so please, M&M, ignore the negativity and keep making these awesome GF treats. Thank you!

Very nice treats for beingG gluten free

Disappointed

I was so excited that something could help out my family (Celiac husband and Vegan daughter). Only to find coconut in 2 of the 3. No one in my family of 6 will eat coconut!! Such a disappointment.

PERFECT ENDING TO A GREAT MEAL

I was quite pleased with this variety of dessert bars. The Nanaimo bars reminded me of the PEP chocolate mint patties you used to be able to buy in Ontario. The coconut bars and the brownies were very tasty too The bars sliced up beautifully and were a perfect ending to my barbeque get together. Even better though was the fact all you had to do was thaw, slice and eat!

Deux sur trois étaient très bons mais les barres Nanaimo à la menthe avaient un goût beaucoup trop prononcé et mes convives n'ont pas aimé du tout.

Love this Trio of Allergy Friendly Desserts!

Love having a yummy vegan, gluten free dessert option in a trio! Incredibly hard to find. Not a fan of mint so my daughter eats the Nanaimo bars - I would definitely prefer something else in place of the mint but the cookie/cake part of the bar is really yummy. The brownies are decadent and moist and the coconut is amazing ( especially when slightly heated in the microwave for a gooey warmth).

Will not purchase again

Very disappointed. Nanaimo bars were mint raspberry bars and brownies were dry stale tasting. Ended up bringing home from function and throwing in garbage.

Barres à la menthe, décevant.

La barre à la menthe est de piètre qualité, rien à voir avec la volupté délicate d'un produit tel que After Height ! On a l'impression de prendre une bouché de sucre à la menthe. Décevant, pourtant les produits fabriqués par M&M sont généralement de bonne qualité.

Yuck

They were awful. I would never buy again. The brownies had a funny taste to them. I had bought for company since I did so much baki g over Christmas but even they said they were not good

Gluten free and tasted good. A win win!

Tasty treats

These were very tasty! It’s always good to find non-dairy treats that taste as close as possible to the real thing. I’ll definitely be buying them again. (The coconut bars were everyone’s favourites.)

Never again

Terrible. After a couple of bites we threw them out. Peppermint had sugar ‘crunches’ in every bite. Chocolate was like compressed cocoa powder. Never again!

They are aweful.

If you miss the old M&M brownies then don't waste your money on this product. They taste horrible. I am very disappointed that they don't make the old chocolate brownies any longer. They told me at the store that the new chocolate chunk brownies were better. They are not. I will have to buy my brownies some where else now.

Excellent taste and an option for everyone

Amazing product! One of the few pre-made desserts my body can seem to tolerate with my inflammatory autoimmune disease and leaky gut. Hope to see more paleo/ AIP safe foods in the future if possible.

My compost bin loved them. I did not.

My compost bin loved them. I Wish I had read the honest reviews. I would have saved my $20. Truly awful. Made me shudder as I tried to convince myself they were dessert. There is no natural taste to them, only an overly sweet , chemical, chalky after taste. The Peppermint squares crumbled and fell apart. There was no waltnut, buttery or cocoa flavors to distinguish in the other bars. I Would never buy them again nor recommend them. There is nothing decadent about them. My grocery store has a better offering.

Dessert Bar Variety pack.

Very disappointed in this variety pack, not one of the bars I would say were good. Definitely not worth $21.99, they weren't even worth the $16.99 sale price I got them for. Absolutely terrible!!!

Only sugar taste

These didn’t have a lot of flavour. They are too sweet, with no taste behind the slam of sugar. I wouldn’t buy them again. I enjoy a sweet treat, but want it to have flavour. There was very little chocolate taste, or peppermint to be had. Haven’t tried the third square yet, but don’t hold high hopes for it. As an FYI, the pieces are not cut up, just a small block in a plastic bag.

Not enough info

The ad is useless. It gives the grams (675) but I can't find the number of pieces anywhere or the assortment or the number per bar. Are there 30, 80, ten nainamo, 20 brownie. Who knows.

"Funny" taste according to my kids

Did not like these very much. The kids said they tasted "funny" and I have to agree. There was weird flavours that I can't identify in the bars. I'm not good at identifying what exactly it was but unappealing to kids. The adults liked the coconut ones but the rest went uneaten. One bite taken then left on the plate.
