Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM THAWED.

  1. For best results, thaw salmon in package, in refrigerator for 24 hours. Alternatively, thaw salmon in cold water for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 
  2. Remove packaging prior to cooking. 
  3. Pat dry and lightly oil salmon.

BARBECUE:

  1. Preheat barbecue on medium-high. 
  2. To prevent sticking, thoroughly clean and lightly oil grill prior to cooking. 
  3. Grill with lid closed 10 to 12 minutes. Turn salmon carefully every 2 to 3 minutes to crisp bacon evenly on all four sides. 
  4. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

AIR FRYER:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). 
  2. Place salmon in air fryer and cook 12 to 14 minutes. Turn salmon to crisp bacon evenly. 
  3. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

OVEN:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). 
  2. Place salmon on parchment lined baking sheet and position in centre of oven. 
  3. Cook for 16 to 18 minutes, Turn salmon halfway through cook time to crisp bacon evenly. 
  4. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 158°F (70°C) is reached. Fully cooked salmon is opaque pink and flakes with a fork. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

I can’t get enough of this item. Recently discovered it on sale, so figured I would try it for a higher protein meal. The salmon is extremely tender and flaky, and the bacon crisps up well in my air fryer. I stocked up, these are really amazing. One of my top 3 items from M&M in my books!!

I like salmon and I like bacon - just wasn't sure I'd like them together - but I figured I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I cooked mine in the air fryer, and gave it a couple of minutes longer than recommended to make sure the bacon was well done, and it was delicious. Ordering some more!

Salmon was good, bacon not so

Salmon was cooked well and was delicious. The bacon wrapped around it, though, was something else. It was still raw and rubbery. That's okay if you like under cooked bacon, but I don't happen to. A lot of fat came off the bacon, too. I'll buy this product again but will either take the bacon off before cooking or after.
