Spanish Rice

Serving Information:



Do NOT use conventional or toaster oven.



  1. For best results, use non-stick medium size skillet.
  2. Preheat skillet on LOW.
  3. Cut open bag and add contents to skillet with 1 tbsp (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil and increase heat to MEDIUM.
  4. Cook for 7 minutes, stirring often to mix components into sauce.
  5. Remove from burner and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.


  1. Do not pierce or perforate bag.
  2. Place bag on microwave safe dish, seam side up.
  3. Heat on high 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Let stand 30 seconds.

    CAUTION: Bag will be hot.

  5. Carefully remove bag from microwave, holding edges.
  6. Open bag and transfer contents into dish.
  7. Stir before serving.

Cook until minimum internal temperature 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
