Butter Chicken

Good price, and excellent quality. Great as a quick preparation meal.

This is a watery very poor attempt at butter chicken...

I have been buying this for years - it was my favorite item at M&M Meats! I hadn’t had it in a few months so I picked up two of the larger size me packages. Just made one for dinner tonight and it didn’t taste the same at all. It was bland and something clearly was “off” from what I usually taste. Sadly it seems that the recipe has changed as a lot of others have noted. It’s not nearly as tasty as it used to be. Why did they have to change the recipe? I won’t be buying this anymore. Such a shame.

This was delicious! The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the chicken was tender and the rice was awesome. Ill definitely be buying this again.

Though the chilcken was tender, the sauce was bland and instead of it being rich and creamy, it had a weird grainy texture to it, like they put in a filler to make it thicker that wasn't supposed to be there. The rice should not be baked or put in the oven with the chicken. It came out crunchy and dry. I'm not sure why I thought butter chicken would taste good at M&Ms. For a few dollars more, irder it at a proper Indian restaurant..

Usually purchase the individual , tried the multi-meal one . The taste and quality are the same (good) but the quantity of chicken and sauce is not enough to cover the rice . I'll stick with the singles .

It seem that they must have changed the recipe. We used to enjoy it, but it now tastes both sour and bland, without the usual butter chicken flavour. Sauce is a lot more watery than it used to be. The sauce was always thick and creamy, now it isn't. The rice is dry, chewy, thinner and has no taste. We have bought and enjoyed this for years, but will not buy it again!

I was surprised by the total lack of any flavor in the butter chicken sauce - no spices, no flavoring, no aroma, NOTHING. It was completely bland, as if only orange food coloring was added to the sauce and that's all. What a disappointment. Even the discount frozen Butter Chicken entrees at Shoppers Drug Mart are far more flavorful and tasty.

Awful! The rice is dry and the sauce is tasteless. Ate a bit then flushed the rest of the tray down the toilet.

Have had Butter Chicken several times. It's one of my favourites.

Was not expecting a true butter chicken from an Indian restaurant, but this item was too bland.

I like this. However, less rice & more chicken would be better for the price you’re charging.

I thought it was okay I liked that there was lots of sauce and lots of chicken but I didn’t like the taste of the sauce it had no flavour it needs to be spicier.

Sauce was very bland and watery. Seems like there was no seasoning at all. I will not be purchasing this again. I have tried it multiple times to make sure it wasn't just me having an off day. Sadly, it wasn't.

I have had over a hundred butter chicken recipes in the last 30 years, this is one of the worse. Week taste, watery sauce, very little chicken. Not at all a good value, even on sale. This would not feed four, as a main meal.

Not the best butter chicken I've had. Prefer PC butter chicken.

Chicken was very tender. Wonderful flavor. Just as good the next day!

Pricey if not on sale.Creamy with pieces of white meat, but no curry flavor at all. You will need to add your own spices or dish is one noted.

I have had this dish several times and it has always been excellent. The flavours are just right and with fresh naan it is a wonderful meal and even reheated it still stands up without loss of texture or flavour.I am sorry to say I cannot say the same for your Chicken Teriyaki which I tried for the first. and last time. It was flavourless and soggy with too much breading. I had hoped it would be like your Jambalaya which I have enjoyed many times and hope to again in the future.

My favourite M&M meal! I buy it at least once a week. Plenty of chicken! Lots of sauce to mix with the rice. Great for those of us who like flavour but not hot spices. The chicken is beautifully tender.

It tasted as good as homemade.

My kids love it, just add some fried Naan and your all set.

I truly love buttered chicken and could eat it it at least once a week.You can’t lose it you pick it for your supper tonight.

Pretty bland. Very little flavour. Broken grains of rice had an unpleasant texture. I didn’t finish the package. Chicken was tender, though.

My husband & I loved the Butter Chicken. It was as good as any we've had in a restaurant - maybe better! The blend of spices was perfect.

I really enjoyed the small microwave dinner version of this so I thought I would try the big one. Chicken was perfect but the rice was still very grainy and hard I'd say 70 percent of it, it was very unpleasant. Won't be purchasing again.

Loved it! There was quite a bit in that meal as well!
