Dry cake. Frosting is not typical cream cheese frosting. This was a huge disappointment.

Quite honestly the worst carrot cake I have ever eaten. Very dry, and icing had a chemical taste. Next time I will purchase a fresh one at the grocery for same amount of money.

Recipe seems altered

The Too Tall Harvest Cake from M and M Meat Shops is no longer the same. The flavour has changed over the past year and it no longer tastes as rich or enjoyable as it used to. The newer version also has walnuts on top, which were never part of the original cake. I hope the store brings back the old recipe that everyone loved.

It looked quite lovely, however it was dry which was disappointing. More oil and less sugar.

Terrible Carrot Cake 👎

I purchased a Carrot Too Tall for dessert for a family dinner, what a disappointment. All who had the Carrot cake did agreed it was very very dry. As a senior I do not have money to waste and this cake was a complete waste of money.Myself and family members rate it a O definitely not worth purchasing, a waste of money.

Unfortunately the carrot cake was extremely dry! We didn’t even finish it because it was so dry. I bought it as my husband’s birthday cake and was so disappointed it was so bad.

Always love seeing the carrot cake on the shelves. Love all the nuts and raisins in it and it smooth texture..

It was a pleasant dessert, we liked the cranberries instead of raisins. Frosting was nice, not too sweet. Cake was a little on the dense side.

Altho the cake is smaller and considered New , it’s the same as the last carrot cake you sold BUT the cake itself is soooo good but did not particular like that’s it’s smaller and more expensive . Not sure that I would pay $24. For it again .

It was good, but for some reason I was expecting more cream cheese. Maybe it's because I love cream cheese :)

My favorite

I would give this cake a 5 star rating but for the price. It's hard to stop at just one piece and doesn't last long in our house. It is so moist and creamy and the icing isn't too sweet.

One of my husband's favorites. Moist, delicious & the cream cheese icing just brings it all together.

Chintzy as all get out

What a chintzy dessert. My delight at the return of carrot cake after being discontinued was quickly deflated. Very little raisins, very low spice, as small amount of icing as they could get away with. To top it off it was dry! Jeepers even Giant Tiger does better than this.Do yourself a favour and save your money.
