Spicy Sesame Chicken & Rice

Tame your takeout craving with this quick-cooking meal. Seasoned chicken meets up with tender-crisp carrots, bok choy and red bell peppers in a sweet-and-savoury gochujang sauce. Served over rice, it’s gluten-free, too!

Spicy Sesame Chicken & Rice

Serving Information:



  1. Do NOT use in toaster oven.
  2. Do NOT place close to oven heat element.
  3. Do NOT exceed 400°F (205°C).



  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove tray from box and pierce film.
  3. Place on baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
  4. Cook 50 minutes.
  5. Pull back film, stir chicken, vegetables and sauce, re-cover with film.
  6. Cook 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
  7. CAUTION: Tray will be hot. Support when removing from oven.

  8. Let stand 4 minutes. Remove film and serve.

  1. Remove tray from box and pierce film.
  2. Place tray on a microwave-safe plate and position in centre of microwave.
  3. Heat on high 8 minutes.
  4. Pull back film, stir chicken, vegetables and sauce; re-cover with film.
  5. Heat on high 7 minutes.
  6. Let stand 4 to 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from microwave.

    CAUTION: Tray will be hot.  Support when removing from microwave.

  8. Remove film and serve.

NOTE: Cook until minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
