Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

FRY PAN:

  1. Preheat fry pan on medium heat. 
  2. Add 1 tablespoon (15 mL) vegetable oil. 
  3. Fry portions 12 to 14 minutes, turning frequently to avoid burning tortilla shells. 
  4. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before portioning.
    5. Serve.

OVEN:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 
  2. Place pieces on baking sheet and position in centre of oven. 
  3. Heat 7 to 8 minutes per side, or until tortilla shells are light golden brown and product is thoroughly heated. 
  4. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before portioning. 
  5. Serve.

BARBECUE:

  1. Preheat barbecue on medium heat. 
  2. Place pieces on grill and grill 10 to 12 minutes turning frequently to avoid burning tortilla shells. 
  3. Remove from heat. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before portioning. 
  4. Serve.

MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS):

  1. Place one piece on a microwave-safe plate. Cover with paper towel. 
  2. Heat on high 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. 
  3. Remove from microwave. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before portioning. 
  4. Serve.

NOTE:

Ensure product is thoroughly heated to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) before serving. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

These are pretty great. They come ready-made for you, so you aren't messing with proportions and assembly, like with kits. When we don't have much time and are trying to multi-task, these are our go-to. Filling and delicious! We add extra salsa, sour cream/Greek yogurt, and hot sauce.
