Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

WARNING:

  1. Do NOT use in toaster oven. 
  2. Do NOT place close to oven heat element. 
  3. Do NOT exceed 400°F (205°C).

OVEN:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 
  2. Remove tray from box and carefully remove foil cover from tray as edges are sharp. 
  3. Tent cover up in centre and place loosely over shepherd’s pie, crimping foil edges slightly. 
  4. Place tray on baking sheet and position in centre of oven. 
  5. Cook 75 minutes. Remove cover. 
  6. Cook 20 minutes. 
  7. Remove from oven.
    CAUTION: Tray will be hot.
    Support when removing from microwave.&
  8. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. 

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these are guidelines only.

Very very disappointed. It seems like the receipt has been changed. The potatoes were awful and it seems like far less meat. M&M SHEPPARD PIE use to be one of my favourites.

I was a little disappointed in the Shepards Pie. Was hoping it would be heartier. Was a lot of mashed potatoes, but in my opinion light on beef. Was ok, overall, but would buy it only on sale.

Bland with not much flavour. The potato contains a lot of water and is not creamy.Adding Worcester sauce helps.I will buy it occasionally when it comes on sale.

Like what Mom used to make

This is the closest store-bought shepherd's pie I have found to what mom used to make. Plenty of ground beef balanced with the right amount of potato. It is slightly bland for my taste, but just add some Worcestershire sauce and that will add a bit of zing. The biggest size serves at least four people, and if it is on sale it is a great value.
