Pulled Pork Tacos

Pulled Pork Taco Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package M&M Food Market Pulled Pork
  • 4-6 each soft tortillas or crunchy taco shells
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup green or red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce

Preparation:

Remove from packaging and place M&M Pulled Pork in a slow cooker and cook for 2 to 3 hours on high, or 4 to 6 hours on low. (Or prepare in microwave or oven as per package directions.)

Build a taco bar so everyone can assemble their own tacos, with soft corn tortillas, crunchy taco shells and/or soft flour tortillas.  Fill small bowls with a range of chopped topping options, such as fresh cilantro, green onions, shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Serve with guacamole and sour cream. 

Tips:

Did you know? Pulled pork, called carnitas in Mexican cuisine, is a traditional way to stuff tacos and burritos. Kick the spice level up a notch by sprinkling some diced seeded jalapenos or a dash of hot sauce on your pulled pork tacos.
