Cooking Instructions

For best results, thaw steaks, in package, in refrigerator for 24 hours. Alternatively, thaw steaks in cold water for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Preheat barbecue on high10 to 15 minutes.
Sear steaks 2 minutes per side.
Turn heat to medium.
Grill 4 to 6 minutes per side for medium-rare with lid closed.

Preheat oven broiler on high.
Broil 5 to 7 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

Perfect preparatoionm instructons for a tasty quick meat entrée.

Broiler preparation following instructions results in perfectly medium rare, VERY tender and flavourful.A friend felt they were seemed undercooked, but red is the colour I expect from a filet mignon, I prefer the M&M Sirloin steaks, but I'm not a big fan of the texture of frozen bacon, so that's likely why.Regardless, I would buy these again. They were a tasty, quick, meat entrée

Filet mignon

On sale these are a good price. Excellent taste but the steaks are often deformed and for $50-$60 they shouldn’t be all lopsided. In the store am tired of hearing how I can reshaped them when defrosted as it is not necessarily true.

Was really disappointed with the filets they were very chewy.my whole family felt the same..I won’t buy them again. I do like all the other things that I buy so I will still shop there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bacon Wrapped Beef Filet Mignons with mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. We have already purchased another pack.

Good quality steaks but terrible packaging!

The steaks are of good quality and taste great, however I phoned M&M regarding the terrible packaging in order to save a few cents! The steaks are far too close in the package so when you remove one or two it opens up the others, allowing them to get freezer burnt. The customer service didn't seem to care and the packaging is still the same. For that price we should NOT have to repackage the unused steaks!!!

excellent vraiment excellent

First time trying these out, thawed in water for 1.5 hours. Left out to get to room temperature. I followed the instructions on the back and cooked for 3.25 each side Turing half way. Rested for 10 minutes and I was blown away. Best tasting steak I’ve had in years! Great job!

The one I had this time was a little tough. Last few times, they were great. Maybe it was just this one.

Always have to check steaks for visible grizzle & to check the bacon is wrapped around the steak & not on the top side where it'll burn on the BBQ.

Fantastic flavour floods your mouth biting into these Filet Mignons! We've been eating them for years. The price isn't that bad either. $11 a piece is almost like free. 😆 You pay an average $50 in restaurants. I'd recommend these to everybody!!

Bland & Chewy!!

Bland, flavorless, chewy globs of gristly meat! Not even the bacon had any flavor. I've had tastier meat from the reduced bin!

Very disappointed

Meat was very poor, I chewed until my jaw was sore. Most expensive piece of meat I have ever thrown in the garbage. My wifes piece was 50% edible.

CHEWY & TOUGH!

These steaks were expensive enough when on sale, but because they were so chewy and tough it makes them more expensive, to me. I won't be buying these again. Very disappointed. One wouldn't sit upright so it cooked unevenly.

Excellent steaks - tender, juicy and reliably medium rare at 6 minutes per side under the oven broiler. (I plan to try BBQing in a few days on my new grill. I have cooked these steaks every Sunday evening for my wife (deceased), and now my girlfriend, for at over 20 years. They both thought/think I am an excellent chef. The real credit goes to M+M, but I have never turned away their praise for "my" steaks.

Very good meat

I had these a few weeks ago, they were very good but I found that 6oz was a little too big for me. But they were tasty.

Chewy and falls apart

Terrible! M&M's filet mignon steaks are garbage now. They fall apart on the grill, are chewy and have little taste. I don't think they are even AA quality now. Over $50 for steaks I can't even get through, Good Bye!
