    Texture is strange

    Ok so I thought this was going to be like a Mac and Cheese but it's NOT. Honestly if you close your eyes, the taste is acceptable. BUT it looks pretty gross. The pasta on the bottom is just very soggy and wet (no cheese on bottom) and then the cheese on top of the casserole is super LUMPY. Like there are chunks of orange cheese mousse.... It is not at all what I expected. The taste is ok but because the cheese is not evenly distributed, you either get a mouthful of boiled pasta or cheese foam. I tried mixing it but because the cheese is like foam, it doesn't really mix well. Not for me.

Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

WARNING:

Do NOT use in toaster oven. Do NOT place close to oven heat element. Do NOT exceed 400°F (205°C).

OVEN: (for best results)

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove tray from box and pierce film on top of tray.
  3. Place tray on baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
  4. Cook 50 to 60 minutes.
  5. Remove film.
  6. Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes, or until cheese browns.
  7. Remove from oven.
  8. CAUTION: Tray will be hot. Support when removing from oven.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS):

  1. Remove tray from box and lift one corner of film away from tray.
  2. Place on microwave-safe plate and position in centre of microwave.
  3. Heat on high 12 minutes.
  4. Lift film. Stir contents gently. Recover with film.
  5. Heat on high 2 to 4 minutes.
  6. Remove film. Let stand 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from microwave.
  8. CAUTION: Tray will be hot. Support when removing from microwave.
  9. Serve.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
