A family favourite and it’s lower in sodium than most their meals which is more heart friendly. The rice isn’t supposed to be flavoured, because you put the sauce on top and that adds ample flavour.

Excellent Butter Chicken!
This is an excellent meal - the butter chicken sauce is delicious. I add veggies on the side with some naan bread and this generously feeds a family of 4 quite nicely. Highly recommend this product!

Price increase
The higher price change is a bit overwhelming since the company changed hands. As for rice. Don't put it with the chicken in the oven. Nuke it for three minutes, Then steam it, its much softer that way. I buy a jar of Butter Chicken paste and mix a table spoon in the sauce this gives a better taste, Its rather bland as it is.

This Butter Chicken is nicely seasoned to appeal to many tastes.. It is. not too hot or spicey. The quality of the food is excellent however on occasion I have added a little more cooked chicken. It is a good meal to keep on hand.

Thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Flavor was mild but very tasty! You even won over my husband who is very cautious about trying new things, especially “different” seasonings. Though not a rice lover, he liked this meal and said we need to get more!

The sauce has a wonderful mild creamy flavour! However, for the price I was expecting it to contain more chicken pieces. I recommend reducing or eliminating the rice to accommodate this.

M&M have THE best butter chicken ready to serve! Lots of their famous white breast chicken chunks and a just right spiced smooth sauce. And it comes with the rice! Quick and delicious. We always keep an extra one on hand in the freezer.

First time I purchased this butter chicken. The size is a little over twice the PC Butter Chicken serving. It is very similar to the PC version in taste but more than twice the price. The chicken is tender and the pieces of chicken is about 1" x 1/2" in size.

Portion was small for the price, and while it was edible, the sauce really lacked that "oomph" you get from restaurant varieties. Better off buying a jarred sauce from Costco. Really disappointing, won't buy again.

It’s ok… but I have definitely had better butter chicken. Too much rice and sauce, not near enough chicken. The sauce was spicy but not flavourful. Seems like it’s missing something. Would be better if it was just a tray of butter chicken rather than any rice at all. Overpriced for what you get

I guess ok for the price and the size but for maybe $2 more, you can get the real deal from a restaurant. The chicken is of a very low quality and is pretty bland. The rice can get hard in the oven and is just a basic white rice. Overall, not great. And just enough for 2 people. (If you don’t eat a lot!)

The butter chicken sauce is watery and flavourless. I took two bites then threw it away.

It tastes like a cheap, quick, no taste micowave meal. Mostly tomato sauce and no evidence of butter. They charge like six bucks or so. At that price there should be taste.

Cooking Instructions
PREPARE FROM FROZEN.
WARNING:
- Do NOT use in toaster oven.
- Do NOT place close to oven heat element.
- Do NOT exceed 400°F (205°C).
OVEN: (for best results)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove tray from box and pierce film above both compartments.
- Place on baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
- Cook 50 minutes.
- Pull back film, stir chicken and sauce; re-cover with film.
- Cook 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Let stand 4 minutes. Remove film and serve.
CAUTION:
Tray will be hot. Support when removing from oven.
MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS):
- Remove tray from box and pierce film above both compartments.
- Place tray on a microwave-safe plate and position in centre of microwave.
- Heat on high 8 minutes.
- Pull back film, stir chicken and sauce; re-cover with film.
- Heat on high 7 minutes.
- Let stand 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from microwave. CAUTION: Tray will be hot. Support when removing from microwave
- Remove film and serve.
NOTE:
Cook until minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
